Doubletree Guest Suites
Cedarwood Development acquired
and repositioned the Doubletree Guest Suites in Sharonville, Ohio
(Cincinnati suburb); Cedarwood Architectural provided interior and
exterior redesign; while Tri-C Construction completed the
renovation.
The massive renovation of guest rooms and all public
areas included a new 2,100-square-foot ballroom, two executive boardrooms,
fitness facility and business center, as well as a redesigned restaurant.
A new outdoor pool and awning-covered dining terrace were added.
In each guest room, carpeting, draperies, furniture and bathroom
fixtures were replaced, and many upscale entertainment and executive work
area amenities were added.
The project achieved the owner's goal of
creating a best-of-class, upscale boutique hotel. In addition, it received
the 2000 Best Renovation - Guest Suites award from the Doubletree Hotel
Corporation.
