Tony Petrarca founded the Cedarwood Companies in 1972 and molded it into a multi-service firm that develops, designs, constructs, finances, leases and manages real estate from coast to coast.

Under Tony's leadership, the company has developed, designed, constructed, and manages millions of square feet of property throughout the United States including commercial, multi-family, office and hospitality properties. Operating from its headquarters in Akron, Ohio, Tony has established multiple regional offices throughout the United States, including Houston, Texas and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, to service many clients and the development needs of the company.

Tony holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Youngstown State University and is a registered professional engineer, a licensed general contractor, and a licensed surveyor. He is also a member of ICSC, the former President of the American Heart Association in Akron, Ohio, former Chair on the Board of Trustees for Kent State University as well as a fundraiser for many charitable organizations.
